GSW is a trading company. It markets quality aggregates from Quarries in Wallonia and rolled sands and strives to offer a complete logistics service to its customers.
GSW works closely with some of the following quarries located in Wallonia:
- Société d'Exploitation des Carrières d'Yvoir (SECY), on the edge of the Meuse, 25 km south of Namur. SECY is a hard sandstone quarry whose stone meets the technical requirements of the surface layers of roads. Its gradings are CE2+/Benor type Ba2 I and the average PSV is 58.
- Les Carrières du Fond des Vaulx (CFV), located in Wellin, province of Luxembourg, 2 km from the E411 Brussels-Luxembourg motorway, exit 23.
- Givet quarry in France, on the edge of the Meuse. The Givet quarry extracts hard limestone whose CE2+/NF calibres are, mainly for Belgium, mainly used by concrete product plants and concrete plants. Pick-ups on the Belgian market are carried out mainly by water and occasionally by truck.
