Group De Cloedt

Group De Cloedt manages centrally, from its headquarters in Brussels, all activities in the field of sand extraction and sale, aggregates, beach replenishment works as well as dredging works.  It also directs the environmental division of the group.  The individual companies have great autonomy in the areas of management and implementation of numerous projects. 

Through its umbrella company, DC Industrial, the group intends to play a major role in Western & Northern Europe, and the Baltic countries and particularly in Belgium in the field of project coordination within various domains, such as: 

• The integral organisation and execution of maintenance dredging of rivers and canals, and harbour areas.
• The implementation of integrated environmental remediation works.
• The execution of beach embankments, protection of coastlines and land reclamation.
• In collaboration with & on behalf of the European, national, and regional authorities: the intervention in major emergencies at sea involving spills of oil with the danger of sea pollution. This particularly applies to the North Sea region.

Group De Cloedt is active in Northern Europe. Bundling the competencies within the group also makes it possible to perform complex tasks at a very competitive price and with the right solution.

With its class A8, B8, and G8 experience, Group De Cloedt can carry out any water building project, involving among others general civil construction, and dredging. Furthermore, DCI participates in public and private tenders, and executes environmental remediation works, throughout Europe.
