Bioterra Meerhout
Bioterra Meerhout is a recycling centre specialised in the acceptance and treatment of wet waste streams, mostly dredged sediments regardless of their chemical quality and has a site of 5ha for this purpose. In addition, the environmental permit also gives the opportunity to temporarily store contaminated soils for further treatment elsewhere (i.e. Genk site).
Bioterra Meerhout is your specialized partner for soils with or without a technical report, to be cleaned or applicable under specific conditions! Partly due to the collaboration with Bioterra and its processing options, we can offer you a comprehensive package of services.
This site, as the Genk-site, is located along the Albert Canal, an important inland waterway ensuring connection with the Antwerp harbour (sea terminal). Maximum draft of appropriated ships is 3,5 meters.
