Bioterra Maasmechelen (Artilaval)
Artilaval is a subsidiary of Bioterra. It is a definitive storage site (DOP) for excavated soil with a storage capacity of 2,000,000 tons, located on the border of the Limburg municipalities of Maasmechelen and Dilsen-Stokkem.
In the quarry, earth, clearance and dredging sludge reach their final destination. Materials with various environmental qualities are accepted: 210/211, 310/311, 410/411. Materials to be supplied must be accompanied by a technical report that has been declared in conformity and a ground transport permit or a raw material declaration.
Trucks that deliver materials can limit their transport costs by including sand or gravel in the return.
