Description of the works

For 5 years, Group De Cloedt has been working on the maintenance of waterways in the western part of Wallonia on behalf of the Public Service of Wallonia. This contract concerns all navigable rivers from Category I to IV and the area covered extends from the Lys to the Historic Canal du Centre, including in particular the Scheldt, the Dendre and the large gauge of the Canal du Centre.

Our added value

The sediments are initially characterised to be directed during dredging to the most appropriate treatment channels. They are mostly dehydrated in lagoons belonging to the Walloon Region before being evacuated or taken care of directly by the treatment centres of Group De Cloedt.

During the various dredging campaigns, Group De Cloedt dredged and took charge of more than 80,000m³ of dredging sediments by being able to rely on its own or partner treatment centres and on its watertrucks for the transport of dehydrated sediments to their outlet.
